In from Denver

I was so excited when an old college pal contacted me to let me know that she would be in town and wanted to get some pictures done with her new baby. Kelly and Matthew are great parents, so funny and so clearly smitten by their darling little boy, Ian. It was a pleasure to spend the morning with them and meet sweet, precious Ian. Thanks for getting in touch and enjoy! Hope to see you again sometime in the next 10 years :)

Gotta love it! Daddy is trying to help but it really looks like he's taunting poor little Ian...

Engagement Session at New Studio!

We had the best time with Lacey and Brett! They are a super cute, easy-going couple who stuck with us through our crazy detour and were game for lots of different shots and locations. Thanks for being our first real studio subjects!! We can't wait for your wedding... Enjoy!

My Guys

The English family headed down to the Lake of the Ozarks for Father's Day. Here are a few shots of Finn and Mike swimming (they promised me there was no e-coli in our part of the lake?!) and Finn driving Pop's boat, vrooooom.

And this was Mike's Father's Day present. I wonder if it is annoying having a photographer wife because you always get pictures as presents...

After the lake, I took the guys to my new studio! It was so exciting to finally have them see what I have been going on and on and on about for these last few weeks. And I think they liked it, in fact I actually had a hard time getting Finn to leave... Can't wait for all of you to come see it and get pictures taken. You are going to love it as much as I do!!

Daddy sit here.

Fabulous Farm Wedding!

I shot this wedding at Milldale Farm with Melissa Rieke. It was incredible! It is a huge farm with an amazing barn, a beautiful main house and lots of green pastures for pictures.
The bride and groom are Melissa's good friends and they could not have been any sweeter or cuter together. They were up for any picture idea and brought such a fun energy. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!

A few of the wonderful details...

Logana-Curtin Wedding

I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite awhile. The bride and I were in the same sorority together and I haven't seen her since college. She is just as sweet, funny and beautiful as I remembered. She and her husband are a perfect match. Their wedding day was amazing and they looked stunning. There were lots of special details from the Southern food to the gorgeous flowers, but probably my favorite part was the candy bar! It took a lot of restraint not to grab handful after handful - I think I only took one handful (ok, maybe two). Thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day and we hope you had an awesome honeymoon!!

mmmm yummy...

McCune Wedding

This was Emily and my first wedding together as a duo! And what a great way to start off our collaborative adventure... It was an amazing day and super fun night. The wedding was small and intimate and full of wonderful family involvement. All of Gretchen's brothers are musical and played the music at the ceremony. What a talented group!
Then in my favorite moment of the day, Gretchen and her grandfather, who loves to dance and wasn't going to be able to make it to the reception, danced at the church after the ceremony while her brothers played in the background. Emily and I definitely shed a tear or two - at least she has her post-baby hormones to blame it on!
Anyway, it was a great day and I wish the McCunes much happiness!

Waiting to see the bride...
